Backpacking Europe '09 - Florence!
Candy in a can!
So I used to drink a lot of soda. A LOT. I used to crave soda when I was thirsty. I think I averaged about 4 sodas a day at CBU which has probably shortened my life by an amount I don't want to imagine. I know...Horrible. But that was then and it was about this point in Europe when I had started getting insane headaches from caffeine withdraws. I needed my Coke fix haha. Anyways we rode a train to Florence and ended up in a random town where we walked FOREVER and saw NOTHING haha. I started to get a dirty feeling that a Milan trip was going to happen again. Luckily a store owner helped us out and directed us to Santa Maria Novela which was amazing!

Backpacking Europe '09 - Milan
We left Switzerland really late and got into Milan, Italy even later. Soon as we got to Milan we wanted to leave. Not what we expected at all. We walked around for a few hours at around 2 in the morning looking for this little hostel that I swear did not exist. People pointed us to hostels but they were all closed for the night. We tried to just leave Milan all together, unfortunately all the trains had stopped moving for the night so we were stuck. We eventually found some stray Americans who helped us find a hostel.
